Is there a configuration tool for Entlib 6?

Can I use the old one with 6.0? Should I author config xml myself? Yikes...

Yes, there is still a configuration tool. Go the Enterprise Library 6 Downloads page and download Microsoft.Practices.EnterpriseLibrary.ConfigConsoleV6.vsix which will install the integrated configuration console.

The standalone configuration tool is bundled with EnterpriseLibrary6-binaries.exe.

This is for VS2012. What about VS2013?

For VS2013, you can use the standalone editor. Or since the official release does not yet target VS2013 you could modify the .vsix manifest (see http://blog.sublogic.com/2012/04/11/getting-your-favorite-visual-studio-2010-extension-to-run-in-visual-studio-11/ for example) to allow installation into VS2013. I did a quick test and it was working.

Hi, I haven't found a valid entry within the manifest to install it in Visual Studio 2013 Community, do you know the entry for the manifest to accomplish this? Thanks in advance.
